InfernoCMS is the product of several years intense development by GiraffeDog.net. Having initially been developed as a classic ASP application and being called gdCMSPro, it soon became clear that the best path to take was to rewrite it as a PHP solution.
Cutting out the jargon, the latest version is simple to use, cost effective and a very powerful tool enabling you or your staff to manage your own website.
GiraffeDog.net started with a blank text canvas way back in January 2006. Deciding from the beginning that currently available CMS solutions were either difficult to manage on a daily basis and that they didn't have the same "concept" for page control.
Our initial brief was simple:
"Design an easy to use WYSIWYG website content management system that did not take long to learn, whilst at the same time make sure it was search engine friendly as possible!" ... InfernoCMS was conceived.
